WPL Title Challengers Begin Phase 2 With Away Starts

Title chasing Barry Town, The New Saints and Connah’s Quay will all begin Phase 2 of the season away from home following the announcement confirming the final batch of WPL fixtures.

Following yesterday’s conclusion of Phase 1, the league now splits in the middle for a further 10 rounds of games.

Current holders The New Saints face Bala Town at Maes Tegid when the league season resumes on Thursday 31 January, with league leaders Barry Town visiting Caernarfon Town and Connah’s Quay at Newtown.

Two points currently separate the top-three clubs with the first clash between the title chasers being on Saturday 16 February when The New Saints host Barry Town. Barry Town are involved in another top-of-the-table clash a week later when they face Connah’s Quay.

The Nomads finish the season with successive games against their title rivals with Barry Town visiting the Deeside on Saturday 20th April. Connah’s Quay face a possible championship deciding game on the last day of the season away to The New Saints on Friday 26th April. Barry Town host Newtown in their final game.
