Welsh Athletics is backing 34 athletes Commonwealth Games Podium and Potential programs during the 2016-17 athletics season.
The announcement follows on from the news that British Athletics will be supporting four Welsh athletes as part of their own support programs – Seren Bundy-Davies, David Omoregie, Hannah Brier and Jake Heyward.
The Welsh Athletics athlete support selection meeting took place at the start of November.
Five selectors, alongside three non-voting observers, undertook a comprehensive review of the 2016 performances of all Welsh athletes who had achieved this year’s performance standards.
