Wales Take On Scottish Challenge At Stebonheath Park

Former Wales and Cardiff City defender Robert Page will take charge of the Wales under-17 squad for two international friendly matches against Scotland in Llanelli.

Both fixtures are at Stebonheath Park, home stadium of Welsh League First Division club Llanelli AFC, and they are on Wednesday, September 20 (5pm) and Friday, September 22 (noon).

Manager Page has named a squad that contains several players who have made the step up from the under-16 team who contested last season’s Victory Shield.

Isaak Davies and Keenan Patten are the Cardiff City players selected, while Scott Reed, Ryan Bevan and Cameron Evans are in from Swansea City.

Newport County’s Lewis Collins and Wrexham’s Matthew Sargent are also in the 20-man squad.

Admission is free for both under-17 matches.
