Chloe Tutton showed she is the latest golden girl of Welsh swimming after capping an incredible major championships debut.
The Pontypridd-born star helped Britain’s 4x100m medley relay quartet to victory at the Europeans to add to her bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke.
And Jazz Carlin bagged her second silver of the event in London – and the fourth by a Welsh swimmer – finishing second in the 400m freestyle.
Swansea’s Georgia Davies had taken bronze in the 50m backstroke on Saturday night.
Tutton, 19, was off second in the relay as the quartet that also included Kathleen Dawson, Siobhan-Marie O’Connor and Fran Halsall won in three minutes 58.57secs.
Britain finished comfortably ahead of Italy (4:00.73) with Finland taking the bronze in 4:01.49.
Carlin had to settle for silver just like when she defended her 800m freestyle title earlier in the competition.
The Swansea ace clocked 4:04.85 as she again lost out to Hungary’s Boglarka Kapas who completed the clean sweep with a winning time of 4:03.47.
Carlin said: “Silver is my medal for these championships.
“But I will use that as motivation going forward and training for Rio.
“I know there are a few things I need to work on but I will go to Rio and see what happens. It is all about working hard.”
