Jodie Grinham and a host of other Welsh star of the Paris Parlympic Games have been honoured with a celebrations night, hosted by Disability Sport Wales. Grinham – who made headlines around the world when she became the first pregnant women to win a Paralympic medal – spoke of overcoming a difficult year before she won gold and bronze in para-archery this summer.

It was a family affair in the wheelchair race as husband and wife Callum and Jade Hall battled it out across the streets of Cardiff.

Ospreys coach Toby Booth believes his team’s “never-say-die attitude” can help them build a firm foundation from which to rock Munster on Saturday night. Last week, the Ospreys came from 13-3 down to claim a 37-24 United Rugby Championship bonus point victory over the Stormers in Bridgend – a performance head coach Booth reckons can form the basis for what would be a shock away in Cork.

Lee Trundle used to score goals for fun in his pomp for Swansea City and he is still hitting the back of the net at the age of 47. An ambassador for the Swans these days, Trundle says he wants to carry on playing until he is at least 50 years old.
