Tom Matthews produced an epic comeback to reach the semi-finals of the World Para Table Tennis Championships in Slovenia.
The Aberdare ace lost the first two sets to Italy’s Federico Falco in their quarter-final class in the men’s one category.
But Matthews – who was handed a bye in the quarter-finals on Friday then took the next three sets to snatch victory.
And Matthews even saved two match points in the deciding set to win 12-10 and guarantee himself at least a medal.

The 26-year-old is competing in his first worlds having taken silver at the Europeans last year when he lost to fellow Welshman Rob Davies.
But Davies will not be adding the world title to the Para crown he took in Rio two years ago as he went out in the last 16 of the class one competition.
The 34-year-old from Brecon took the first set against Guillermo Bustamante but the Argentinian hit back to win the next three sets.
