Tesni Evans will bid to hit the $18,000 jackpot in Monte Carlo after coming through a five set epic.
The Cardiff-born ace and No 2 seed saw off England’s Millie Tomlinson after an 87 minute battle.
Evans will now face top seed Laura Massaro of England in the final.
The 26-year-old took the first two sets of her semi-final with the world No 25 11-7, 12-10.
But her Derby-born rival, seeded three for the event, hit back to take the next two sets 11-9, 13-11.
World No 9 Evans responded to the challenge to win the deciding set 11-9 at the Monaco Squash Club.
Massaro, who British Champ Evans has beaten several times this year, won her semi against Egypt’s Mayar Hany, seeded four, 11-8, 11-5, 4-11, 11-8 in 40 minutes.
