Rosie Eccles will go for gold after reaching the final of the Belgrade Winner tournament in Serbia.
Wales’ 2018 Commonwealth Games silver stopped local boxer Aleksandra Rapaic in her welterweight bout on Sunday night.
She will face Navbakhor Khamidova of Uzbekistan in the 69kg category final.
Eccles has guaranteed herself a medal by reaching the semi-finals following her victory over Balzhan Askar of Kazakhstan.
The 24-year-old from Caldicot has already won a bronze medal at the Bocskai event in Budapest earlier this year.

Wales’ world champ Lauren Price was originally named in the Team GB team for Belgrade, but was a late withdrawal.
The tournament is part of the squad’s preparations for the forthcoming European Olympic qualifier in Paris (4-8 June 2021).
Eccles was beaten in the London qualifier last year before that event was stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
