Swansea City head coach Luke Williams has heaped praise on Ronald for his impact since joining the club, expressing confidence in the Brazilian’s potential.
Since arriving in the January transfer window, the 22-year-old has made a striking impression, notably with his two-goal performance in the recent win against Sunderland.

Ronald joined Swansea from Brazilian side Gremio Anapolis having spent the previous 18 months on loan in Portugal with Estrela da Amadora.
“I have been very impressed, he has a great personality and is really brave,” said Williams.
“It is a huge step for him, and it’s one thing to be here but is another to embrace it and he is doing that.
“He has great quality, but it is his personality that is getting him the rewards on the pitch because of how he is applying himself.
“When I watched him play this was the thing that was a key indicator that he would be able to cope with the demands of the Championship.
“He was playing on rough pitches against rough opposition. You could see people were unforgiving with their challenges and he stood up to that.
“We watched a lot of footage of him from the recruitment team and when I spoke to him you could tell he was a tough guy with determination. There is a lot more to come and we will see more exciting individual play from him.
“He is applying himself fantastically to his role and he is showing the courage to score as well as try and create for his teammates.”
Ronald is set to make a seventh appearance for his new club when the Swans travel to Watford on Wednesday night.
