Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero could be on his way to Middlesbrough.
The Ecuador flier whose displays lit-up the Premier League last season has struggled for game time in the past few weeks.
Montero has not played since the FA Cp defeat at Oxford last month and was not even part of the squad for last Saturday’s home game with Southampton.
New boss Francesco Guidolin opted to start with Wayne Routledge and Andre Ayew against the Saints while Mo Barrow now looks to be ahead of him in the pecking order.
Montero was linked with a move to the Riverside during last month’s transfer window.
And with Championship sides still able to take players out on loan, Montero could be heading to the North East until the end of the season.
