Newport County will head to Chesterfield on Mayday for their rearranged League Two clash with the Derbyshire club.
Manager Michael Flynn and his players will hope they are still in contention for a play-offs place when they head north.
County are 12th in League Two with seven games left to play, 11 points outside the play-off places with a game in hand over seventh-placed Coventry City.
The Sky Blues were beaten 6-2 at home by Yeovil Town in their latest fixture, while Crawley Town missed the chance to jump above the Exiles after drawing 1-1 at home to Swindon Town.
County’s scheduled match at Chesterfield’s Proact Stadium was postponed.
The rearranged date means County complete their regular season fixtures with two long away trips – to Chesterfield and then Carlisle United.
Flynn was furious when the match at Chesterfield was called off less than three hours before kick-off at 12.07pm.
“It’s disgusting how late the decision was left,” he said. “We were only 20 minutes from the ground and we’d paid for a meeting room in a hotel for our pre-match briefing.
“But it’s the fans I feel for because they were all on the road or on the trains.
“The players had all donated their complimentary tickets as well so club volunteers could get in free of charge and I hope Chesterfield offer them the same for the rearranged date.”
Striker Paul Hayes looked certain to miss the match at Chesterfield with a calf strain, while Flynn said: “It does mean a few of our walking wounded have a bit of time to recover, but there are one or two who haven’t had many minutes and were excited about playing so it’s disappointing for them.”

The O’s seem to be safe from relegation and Reynolds will hope for more chances.

Boreham Wood won 1-0 at Wrexham and jumped above the Dragons into third place.
LyeLeaders Macclesfield look certain to win the title and claim the only automatic promotion place, while Wrexham and Wood are chasing play-off slots.
Turkey is playing at wing-back for Wood and has played in all of their 10 fixtures during February and March.
The Hertfordshire club have earned 19 points from this matches.
Tom Owen-Evans at Truro City
Bristol-born Owen-Evans, who grew up in the Forest of Dean, signed for Truro City on loan in February. He has made an impact and the White Tiger are pushing for a play-offs finish.
