Dunstable Town 0, Merthyr Town 6
Merthyr Town fired six goals in their runaway Southern League Premier Division win against Dunstable Town away.
Former Cardiff City striker Stuart Fleetwood and winger Corey Jenkins netted two each, while Kyle Copp and Ashley Evans were their other scorers.
Merthyr led by two goals at half-time and kept up the pressure to extend their unbeaten start to three games at the start of this season.
They were bitterly frustrated in midweek when they led 2-0 at Stratford Town and came away with a draw.
Ian Traylor was sent off in that match and will serve a suspension soon, while he was among the substitutes at Dunstable.
Manager Gavin Williams gave new signing Momodou Touray, a teenager from Newport County, his debut from the bench and provided an assist at Creasey Park.
Jenkins fired Merthyr ahead after eight minutes and then Fleetwood made it 2-0 from a penalty after he had been fouled on 22 minutes.
Jenkins added a third goal immediately after the break (46 mins), while Copp (60), Fleetwood (67) and substitute Ashley Evans (78) completed the scoring.
It was a confidence-boosting away win for the Martyrs, who have five points from three matches and play Farnborough Town in their next League match at Penydarren Park on Saturday (3pm).
