Merthyr Town’s match at Bishops Stortford, due to be played this afternoon, has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Heavy rain throughout yesterday left the playing surface unplayable with more bad weather expected.
The League agreed after consultation with both clubs to allow a referee to make an early inspection and the decision was made to postpone the EvoStik Southern League Premier Division fixture.
The clubs have agreed a rearranged fixture date of Tuesday, April 24 and will submit paperwork to the league over the Easter weekend.
The Martyrs now focus on Bank Holiday Monday’s home match against Frome Town at the Loadlok Community Stadium (3pm).
Frome’s scheduled fixture against Banbury today has also been called off.
