Gary Madine and Anthony Pilkington both scored for Cardiff City in their pre-season fixture at St George’s Parl, Staffordshire this afternoon.
The Bluebirds sent a strong team to the English midlands for a match against French League One club Amiens SC and came out 3-1 winners.
Madine, Pilkington and an own goal made up Cardiff’s tally, while Quentin Cornette replied for Amiens.
Loic Damour, Matt Connolly, Stuart O’Keefe, Jazz Richards and Kadeem Harris were among other on duty
With almost an hour gone the score was 1-1, but Cardiff finished the stronger team and came out on top.
Kenneth Zohore and Greg Cunningham were also among the players at St George’s, the Football Association training headquarters.
Manager Neil Warnock and his Bluebirds now turn to their home friendly against Spanish team Real Betis at Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday (5.15pm).
