Luke Williams has admitted to growing frustration over Swansea City’s lack of fire power.
Although they gained a useful point in a draw at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night, it was a 0-0 stalemate – meaning the Swans have not scored in more than seven hours of football and their winless run now stands at five matches.

The point was enough to keep Williams’ side 13th in the Championship table, but they are nearer the relegation zone – in terms of points – than they are the play-offs.
“I don’t think a point is quite enough to satisfy anyone, but we deserved at least a point so we take that,” said Williams.
“Of course there’s frustration [over not scoring] because you cannot win without scoring a goal. But I am backing the players that we have in the squad to start finding the back of the net.
“We have a lot of positives about our performances, but of course we have to start scoring more goals.
“If I knew exactly how to solve the problem, it would have been solved already. Today we’ve hit the woodwork and sometimes that’s how close you can come.
“It wasn’t a classic, but this is a very, very tough place to play. We had to cope with a lot of direct play and the atmosphere here and I think we deserved our point,” he said.
“We certainly had a tough game, we coped well enough but it was not a great game by any means.
“There were opportunities for us, and I think that is the difference for us at the moment. If we can take some of those big chances then we will have a very different season on our hands, and that is the challenge for us as a group.
“We have shown we can handle the ball, and we can control games, and we are prepared to be tough and defend our goal.
“Now we need to be more ruthless in the opposition box.”

Both sides had chances to take all three points, but neither could find the net.
Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl said: “It’s a little bit of a similar story at the moment.
“We try, we invest, we run, we win balls, we have good build-up, we attack the spaces. But in the box of the opponent, we are not clinical.
“To win games you have to score and first you need shots on target. Today we had good opportunities, but no shots on target. At the moment that is the issue.
“It’s hard to take for my team, I feel for them, but we will come through it and if we start to score, then we can win games in a row.
“With Jamal [and the penalty appeal], I think there is a contact but I am not the ref.”

Swansea City Boss Luke Williams Admits His Players Have Become Afraid
Williams should try 2 upfront one playing deeper behind the target man, Williams bewails the fact its 7 hours without a goal yet plays a goal scorer like Abdulai on the wing or deep midfield. When he did play on the wing I heard Grimes telling him to pass if he goes over the halfway line!!!!!! Poor bloke was criticised for following the captains instructions and not going forward!!!!! We must try two up front as the wingers seldom see anyone in the middle to receive a ball
This year Paterson would have been ideal ,and please tell Grimes to aim for the players in the centre of the goal when he takes corners, and not kick the ball over every players heads!!!!!Most corners we get are wasted …totally wasted!!!
There are very good players in the under 21s who could easily progress to the first team and should be given a chance. The top premiership clubs often play 16 year olds whereas we wait until the players are in their early twenties before they even become subs !!!!
Swans are becoming boring to watch with no guile in midfield ,and forwards lacking support
