Lawrence Vigouroux believes he has settled in well as the new man between the sticks for Swansea City.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper, who joined from Burnley earlier in the summer, has already started in the two competitive matches against Middlesbrough and Gillingham and is preparing for his first home league game against Preston North End on Saturday.
“I have really enjoyed my time here so far,” said Vigouroux.
“It has been a very intense period, we have been working really hard every day, and that has been great. I really like the club, the people, and the city. I am really enjoying it.”

Vigouroux’s decision to join Swansea was influenced by the opportunity for more regular playing time.
“It was hard for me last season when I worked hard but didn’t play. I missed that feeling of playing on a Saturday.
“So the most important thing for me is to work hard day in and day out, and to listen to what the staff are asking of us.”
However, the goalkeeper’s journey hasn’t been without its challenges. Following the departure of Carl Rushworth, who impressed during his loan spell last season, Vigouroux has stepped into the starting role.
But competition for the position was expected from Andy Fisher, who is now sidelined for an extended period after undergoing groin surgery.
As a result, Swansea head coach Luke Williams is looking to bring in another goalkeeper before the transfer window closes on 30 August.

Vigouroux is open to the idea of new competition and added: “This is a massive club.
“You can’t have just me and a couple of guys who haven’t really got that experience,” he said.
“I completely understand [that Swansea are looking for another keeper] and I relish the opportunity to fight for the shirt with anybody. You can’t have someone who is too comfortable in their position.”
In the absence of Fisher, youngster Nathan Broome has been on the bench for Swansea’s first two games, and 19-year-old academy product Evan Watts has also been involved with the senior squad.
Despite the youthful nature of the current competition, Vigouroux insisted: “There are some really good goalkeepers in the building at Swansea.
“We have lost one unfortunately to injury in Fish (Fisher). I worked with him for a couple of days and I could see he has a lot of very good attributes that I could learn from.”
As Vigouroux continues to adapt to his new environment, he remains focused on improving his game.
“I’m working with a goalkeeping coach who is one of the best in the world and who is very honest with me in terms of what he expects,” he added.
With the new season underway, Vigouroux is eager to make the most of his time at Swansea, both on and off the field, as he continues to prove himself as a vital part of the squad.
