Cardiff Devils have re-signed local product Chris Jones for a fourth season.
The 25-year-old played his youth hockey with the Devils and apart from a one-season stint with with Swindon Wildcats in 2012-13 has always been with his local club.
Jones became a regular last season on the team’s penalty killing unit that was ranked number one in the EIHL.
Player/Coach Andrew Lord said: “Jones is a great skater, which is a big reason he earned a spot on the PK unit.
“He continues to improve and his dedication to his on ice and off ice training means he will be given more opportunity to play this coming season.
“In years past, we have called upon him to step into any line and he plays that role well.
“His skating ability is his best asset and he is still getting better every year.”
