Man of the match Joe Haycock and Ismail Ozdemir scored for Berriew in their Welsh Trophy third round win against Carno away.
The Rhiewsiders produced a commanding team performance to earn their place in the last 32.
Berriew manager David Jones said: “We feel the trophy is a competition we can go far in this season with a bit of luck along the way.”
Defender Drew Cook returned to the Berriew team, but Charlie Humphreys and George Mitten were again ruled out.
Berriew’s reward for their Trophy win is a home tie against Rhydymwyn in the next round on Saturday, November 24.
Rhydymwyn moved into the FAW Trophy fourth round with a 3-0 win over Prestatyn Sports thanks to goals from Harry Massey, Nathan Mendoza and Kyle Harte.
Cefn Albion won 6-0 at Saltney Town and they have been drawn at home against FC Nomads of Connah’s Quay.
Kien Morris (2), Oli Davies (2), Jordan Jones and Dan Cox scored the goals for Albion.
Craig Whelan (2) and Iwan Morris scored for Mynydd Llandegai in a 3-2 win at Llansantffaid, a victory which earned them a trip to Plas Madoc.
Goals from James Haynes and Ian Hughes led Rhos Aelwyd to a 2-1 win against Rhostyllen, while Dyffryn Nantlle Vale drew 2-2 at Greenfield. Rob Daniels and Rhys Williams scored Vale’s goals, while Shaun Beck fired both for Greenfield.
The tie was decided by a penalty shootout with Vale winning 3-2.
Jamie Cumming (2), Ben Kearney (2), Jamie Smith, Jordan Deer and Vita Mbolokele were on target for Brymbo in a 7-2 victory against Y Felinheli.
Chirk AAA powered to 5-0 win at Glantraeth Louie Middlehurst scoring a hat-trick. Andy Pryde and Sammy Nash were the other scorers for Chirk.
Sam Henry was another hat-trick hero, leading Corwen to a 4-1 success against Corwen. Ryan Billington completed the tally.
Ricky Jones (2), Aidan Clarke (2), Richard Williams and James Burgess scored for Bodedern in a 6-0 win against Llandyrnog, while Llanrug also fired six goals.
They won 6-1 at Lex thanks to goals from Aaron Hughes (3), Simon Kay, Luke Phillips and Carl Griffiths.
Jordan Phillips (2) and Jamie Jones were the Glan Conwy scorers in a 3-2 victory against Llandudno Albion, while Plas Madoc were on top against St Asaph and won 4-1.
Shaun Valentine, Nicky Williams, Jordan Williams and Jamie Williams scored for Plas Madoc.

Jake Jones scored both goals for Pwllheli in a 2-1 success against Llanberis with the winner scored in extra time.
Mid Wales League clubs Caersws and Llanfair clashed at the Recreation Ground.
Mark Griffiths is Caersws manager and Llanfair is his home town, while his brother Paul plays for United.
The result was a 2-1 away win for Llanfair, who hit back from a goal down.
Caersws took the lead after four minutes through a sublime left foot strike by Aled Jones from 25 yards.
Karl Seliaerts equalised on 42 minutes, finding the net following Tom Gregory cross from the left and Josh Astley’s flick-on from four yards.
Seliaerts was on target again after 83 minutes, finishing brilliantly from a Toby Evans cross.
A big win to boost Llanfair’s already good start to the season.
They play Carno at home next Saturday before a big Welsh Cup tie at home to Porthmadog on Saturday, November 10.
Llangefni Town will meet Brymbo in the last 32 of the FAW Trophy.
Cefni are top of Welsh Alliance Division One and undefeated this season, while the Steelmen are joint leaders of the Welsh National League Premier Division.
Kevin Lloyd’s hat-trick helped Llangefni Town beat Wrexham National League Penycae 6-0.
It took 36 minutes for Lloyd to open the scoring for Cefni, running onto a through ball to chip it over the ‘keeper.
A few minutes later it was 2-0 when a half cleared corner fell to the feet of Callum Mcminimee and his shot from 20 yards flew into bottom left hand corner.
Early in the second half it was 3-0. A diagonal pass found Paul Rowlands wide on the right and his cross picked out James Saxon , whose shot hit the bar. Liam Morris volleyed in the rebound.
Morris was at the heart of the action again for the fourth when his cross was volleyed in by Lloyd.
Sean Pritchard and Iwan Jones combined after 81 minutes and found Cai Powell Roberts on the right, HIs deep cross Mcminimee at the far post and he fired his second off a post.
Lloyd completed the scoring from a penalty after 88 minutes.
Next up for Llangefni is a match against Llanberis at home in the Mawddach Cup on Saturday (2.30pm).
Penydarren BGC won 2-0 in their Trophy tie at Cornelly United thanks to goals from Chris Colvin and Joshua Brogden.
Colvin put Penydarren ahead ahead when he produced a composed finish from Connor Keating’s through ball.
The second goal came when Brogden went past two defenders and fired into the bottom corner.
It was a deserved win for Penydarren, who missed several chances, but were delighted with goalkeeper Jonathan Green’s clean sheet.
They will host Swansea Senior League team Ynystawe FC in the fourth round.

Grange Albion came through the drama of a penalty shootout to win their Trophy clash with Pontlottyn.
The teams were drawing 2-2 after 90 minutes, 3-3 after extra time.
Goalkeeper Nathan Alderman saved two spot-kicks during the shootout, while Liam Jeremy, Jacob Daly, Nathan White and Jack Kane scored for Albion in a 4-1 penalty win.
The FAW Trophy fourth round (last 32) draw was made in Dragon Park, Newport.
Assisting the FAW Head of Competitions Andrew Howard with the draw was TNS manager Scott Ruscoe and former Wales International player Carl Fletcher, both in Dragon Park, as part of their FAW ProLicence course.
