Jeremiah Azu stormed to victory in the European Under 23 Championships in Finland.
The 22-year-old triumphed in Espoo in 10.05secs – just o.01 secs off the Welsh record he set in Manchester last weekend.
Azu became the first Brit in history to retain a Euro U23 title in any event having won in Estonia in 2021.

The European senior bronze medallist was favourite for the title and lived-up to the pre-championships billing with another storming display.
The 22-year-old has smashed the Welsh 100m record twice in six days when he clocked 10.04 secs in the semis having set the mark of 10.08 in Manchester.
Azu said: “This was my goal coming into this Championship, to win.
“Looking at the numbers before the competition, I was hoping to go sub-10, but it feels amazing to win the U23 Championship title.”
