Jack Cork Admits It Is Make-Or-Break Time For Swansea City

Jack Cork says Swansea City face a crunch month that will define their season – and likely the future of manager Bob Bradley.

The midfielder has admitted the performance in the 5-0 hammering at Tottenham on Saturday was unacceptable.

And he knows the Swans have to improve after slumping back to the bottom of the Premier League given their upcoming run of games.

Sunderland, just one place above the Swans, visit the Liberty Stadium on Saturday followed by away trips to West Brom and Middlesbrough.

The Swans then have home games after Christmas against West Ham and Bournemouth before starting the New Year on the road at Crystal Palace and Hull.

The thrilling 5-4 win over Palace is Bradley’s only win in seven games so far and if he has not added to that following the return then the American’s time may well be up.

Cork said: “For the rest of this month we are playing teams in a similar position to us, so they are games that will define our season.

“We have to make sure we get the results we need in those games.

“We can’t let this result get us down because it’s a massive period ahead.

“These next five games we have got to improve and look forward.”

Of the defeat at White Hart Lane, Cork added: “We are massively disappointed for the fans to come and watch that.

“It is so disappointing, we were not at the races but we cannot let it get us down, we need everyone working together to get a result next week.

“We are conceding a lot, there are phases like that and it is something we have to put a stop to as soon as possible.”
