Gerwyn Price cruised into the second round of the Players Championship Finals with a convincing victory over John Henderson.
The 35-year-old bold backed from his defeat at the Grand Slam of Darts with a 6-2 win at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.
Price will now face Jamie Hughes in the last 32 on Saturday as he looks to go one step better than last year.

Second seed Price narrowly lost in the final to World No 1 Michael van Gerwen 12 months ago.
Pontyberem’s Jonny Clayton also eased through his first-round match with a 6-2 victory over Mickey Mansell.
