Two-time defending champ Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton will face each other in the BoyleSports Grand Slam of Darts.
The duo – who won the World Cup of Darts for the first time last week – have been drawn together in the same Group G for the event which starts on Monday.
The two top from each group will progress to the knock-out stages.
Price starts at the 10/3 pre-tournament favourite with sponsors Boyle Sponsors given his form in recent weeks and the fact he has won for the past two years.
The Markham darter begins his defence against Japan’s reigning women’s world champ Mikuru Suzuki who he lost to while on his way to victory last year.
The Iceman is aiming to become only the third person to lift the prestigious Eric Bristow Trophy for a third successive year – emulating Michael van Gerwen and Phil Taylor.
Clayton begins his quest against Grand Slam debutant Ryan Joyce at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.
Wayne Warren – who at 57 became the oldest person to win the BDO world title this year – is in Group H along with Nathan Aspinall, Dimitri Van den Bergh and Ricky Evans.
