Gareth Furlong and Owain Dolan-Gray scored to give Wales a stunning 2-1 victory over the United States in Spain on Saturday.

The win followed the 1-1 draw with the world ranked No 29 team in the first meeting of the three game series in Barcelona.

Dale Hutchinson netted in the opening game on Friday for Wales, ranked five places below the USA.

Coach Zak Jones’ Dragons face the USA in the final match on Sunday.

But the win – following the opening game draw – are a perfect boost ahead of the World League Rd 2 in Belfast from March 11-19th.

Then Wales’ men will be looking to match the marvellous exploits of the women who reached the semi-finals in Malaysia earlier this month.
