Wrexham start their day early at the Racecourse when they play Boreham Wood in a Vanarama National League match at the Racecourse (12.30pm).
The Dragons have opened their season by earning four points from two matches and goalkeeper Rob Lainton has kept back-to-back clean sheets.
“We are not happy, we wanted six points,” says defender Kevin Roberts
“But it is not the worst start to the season, four points and two clean sheets. We can build on that.
“If you are averaging two points a game you are doing something right but we have to earn a positive result against Boreham Wood.
“We want to be on seven points out of three games, with another clean sheet.”
Almost 5,800 spectators watched Wrexham’s goalless draw against Fylde at home in midweek and manager Sam Ricketts said: “They created a fantastic atmosphere.
“That is the biggest thing and is what we are going to need.
“That atmosphere is what drives a team. It was everything what this club is and we are trying to give that back to the supporters to encourage them to keep coming.”
Both Wrexham and Boreham Wood have collected four points from their opening two fixtures and it’s going to be a fiercely contested match this afternoon.
Former Wrexham defender Jamal Fyfield could make his debut for Wood after moving from Gateshead during the close season.
Wood strengthened their attacking options during the transfer window by signing 21-year-old Charlton Athletic forward Josh Umerah and Brentford’s Justin Shaibu, both on loan.
