It was a trip to Llandybie for the Deadballline Guy this weekend, where the home side beat Llangadog, 41-12 in their Division Three West B clash.
Hiding away in exile at Llandybie these days is former Scarlets and Wales backs coach Allan Lewis, a man who’s been around more clubs than DBG himself.
After the match, Allan sat down with Deaders and told him why he’s still coaching in grassroots club rugby after all these years.
What about the back room folk? It’s people like Stuart Griffith that keep clubs such as Llandybie ticking over. Stuart gave his thoughts to DBG.

Shouldn’t that be ‘ap Deadball’
Great bloke – he once rescued me from a bully at school when he was a prefect – he dumped the bully head first in a trash bin – hero!
