Sean Eardley has taken charge of Huws Gray Alliance leaders Caernarfon Town.
The former Oldham Athletic player was assistant to Iwan Williams, who has been appointed manager of Welsh Premier League Llandudno Town.
The two men were team-mates at Llandudno and worked together in a successful spell at Caernarfon.
Williams, 32, replaces Alan Morgan, at Llandudno having led Caernarfon to the Alliance title two years ago and runners-up spot last season.
His first match with Llandudno is against Barry Town United at Jenner Park on Saturday (2.30pm).
Eardley has been appointed interim manager at a club who lead the Alliance and have qualified for the JD Welsh Cup third round following their 4-1 win against Spar Mid Wales League Berriew.
Caernarfon reached the semi-finals of the cup last season look capable of making progress again.
The Cofis went ahead after 10 minutes when Darren Williams finished clinically from 12 yards.
Danny Brookwell hit the bar before Jamie Breese made it 2-0 from a Joe Williams pass.
Thomas headed Caernarfon’s third immediately after half-time, glancing Brookwell’s cross into the net.
Karl Seliaert replied for Berriew, while Rhys Roberts completed a 4-1 scoreline to clinch a home victory.
Caernarfon have two big league fixtures ahead, against second-placed Airbus Broughton away this Saturday and at home to Holywell Town, who are third, a week later.
They are two points clear of Airbus in their quest to be crowned Alliance champions for the second time in three years.
Caernarfon have three players among the top six Alliance goalscorer with Thomas and Craig on 11 each, just ahead of Breese with nine.
The Cofis won 6-2 against Gresford in their last Alliance fixture, a win which lifted them back to the top. They have a two-points lead ahead of Airbus.
Captain Craig, Breese and Thomas scored two goals each in a decisive victory.
The first goal for Thomas, which made the score 5-0 at the time, was his 100th for the club in 170 appearances.

Penydarren BGC, Panteg and Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant all earned shock wins in the JD Welsh Cup.
South Wales Alliance Premier League club Penydarren knocked STM Sports out of the competition, having defeated the same opposition in the FAW Trophy earlier this season.
Penydarren won 2-1 in the cup with Chris Colvin and Josh Brogden the scorers.
Panteg, who play in Welsh League Division Three, travelled to the Rhondda and won 3-1 against First Division Ton Pentre.
Josh Toomey fired Pentre in front before Luke Dyke equalised and Jonathan Butcher netted the winner.

Cwmbran Celtic came from behind to win an all-Welsh League Division One clash against Llanelli. Jordan Follows put the Reds ahead after 37 minutes before James Kinsella equalised and Chris Hamm netted a late winner.
Celtic Park has become something of a graveyard to Llanelli hopes. They have still to record a win at the ground.
This latest Celtic v Llanelli clash ended in controversy deep into stoppage time. The score was 1-1 when Kurtis March tackled home striker Josh Bull.
Llanelli insist the challenge was on the byeline, but referee James Burgess clearly did not agree, awarding a penalty and sending March off.
Hamm beat goalkeeper Scott Coughlan from the spot and that proved to be the winner.
Coughlan was the busier of the two ‘keepers, pulling off a couple of important stops to deny Celtic, who had Lewis Watkins in goal.
Watkins dropped a cross to leave Follows with a simple finish from three yards.
Kinsella equalised and then Celtic had penalty appeals turned down when Bull went down as March challenged, but referee Burgess waved them away.
Celtic were then awarded their last gasp spot-kick, four minutes into injury time, and earned their place in the third round.

Guilsfield won 3-2 against hosts Holywell Town in an all-Huws Gray Alliance clash. Steve Lewis had his penalty saved early on, but Jon Jones gave the Wellmen the lead on the half hour.
The second half was eventful as Adam Jenkins equalised in the 64th minute before Lewis made amends for his earlier miss, with a goal five minutes before the end. The Guils were level again just two minutes later and with the match heading for extra-time, Asa Hamilton grabbed the winner two minutes into stoppage time. Hamilton was then sent-off with Holywell’s Gareth Sudlow, but the Guils held on to claim a place in Round 3.
Guilsfield Athletic made easy work of their home match against Conwy Borough when they ran out 5-1 winners. Action from the match is pictured above.
