Bob Bradley is set to add Paul Williams to his coaching staff at Swansea City.
The American has been seeking an assistant since he succeeded Francesco Guidolin in October.
Williams, 45, was in temporary charge of Nottingham Forest at the end of last season and left in May.
He is currently part of the England under 20’s coaching set-up but is expected at the Liberty Stadium soon.
Williams played in the Premier League as a defender and midfielder for Coventry City and Southampton.
He started his playing career at Derby County and had a spell at Stoke City before a brief stint at American outfit Richmond Kickers.
Williams has also had coaching experience with Wolves, Aldershot, Southampton, Brentford.
Bradley has picked up one point from his first four games – the home draw with Watford – and the Swans travel to Everton on Saturday one off the bottom of the Premier League table.
