It was a great Tilemaster Adhesives Lee Holland Memorial Stages at Anglesey Circuit today, which saw teenage driver Frank Bird score an amazing victory on only his second ever rally.
Co-driven by Jack Morton, Bird set seven fastest stage times out of eight to win the event by 64 seconds in a Ford Focus WRC.
Chris West/Keith Hounslow finished second in their Peugeot 306 Maxi Kit Car to retain their MSN Circuit Rally Championship title with one round still to go.
Wil Owen/Llion Owen completed the podium in their Ford Escort Mk2.
There were a number of retirements, including early leaders Guy Smith/Steve McNulty (Ford Fiesta R5) who collided with Rob Hughes/Sion Cuniff (Ford Fiesta 1600), putting them both out of the event. Peter Smith/John Millington stopped with water pump problems in their Fiesta WRC, event sponsor Mark Kelly/Neil Colman suffered suspension failure in their Escort Mk2, and Philip Ball/Adam Cooper had an engine fire in their Escort Mk1.
