The Barry Island 10K will return to the famous seaside resort on Sunday August 4 next year following the empathetic success of the inaugural event. Sun, sea and sand will greet thousands of runners as the race returns as part of next year’s Run 4 Wales 10K Series. Around 3,500 participants made the first edition of the Barry Island 10K a hit with runners enjoying sizzling weather and stunning scenery along Whitmore Bay and in the heart of the town’s regenerated retail area.
