Former Cardiff City defender Jazzi Barnum-Bobb has joined Newport County on a one-year deal.
The 20-year-old right-back played 12 times for the Exiles on a loan spell last season and has been handed a full-time move by manager Warren Feeney.
The London-born player began his footballing career at Watford before joining the Bluebirds in 2014.
He made two League Cup appearances in the 2014-15 season campaign and was handed a contract extension by old boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
“I’m delighted to sign for Newport County AFC,” Barnum-Bobb told the Club’s website.
“There are a lot of new faces that Warren has brought in over the summer and it is a very exciting time to be joining the club.
“There has been a lot of changes here at the club, but the one thing that has stayed the same is that Warren is here and I’m really looking forward to working with him next season.”
Feeney added, “I’m pleased that we have managed to secure the signing of Jazzi on a permanent basis.”
“When he was here on loan last season I thought he did very well and the fans really took to him.
“He’s a young kid, who is always looking to learn and he has plenty of potential and will fit in well with the squad we are building here and Jazzi will provide a good balance for us.
“He has got games behind him at this level and I’m sure he will be a great addition for us.”
