Announcement Due On Llanelli Manager Andy Hill

It’s all change at Llanelli Town AFC as they prepare to launch a new era in the club’s history.

The Reds are Welsh League champions and are planning for JD Sports Welsh Premier League football in 2018-19.

Llanelli are rebuilding after winning three titles in the last for seasons with the club chairman, secretary and leading goalscorer all moving on.

Goals ace Lee Trundle.

There are also strong rumours that manager Andy Hill may also step down after leading Llanelli back to the top tier.

The departures of chairman David Craddock, secretary Neil Dymock and striker Lee Trundle have all been confirmed, while an announcement on the future of Hill is expected later today.

Hill, a centre-forward who spent a decade playing for Neath, also played for Afan Lido and Llanelli. He was capped for Wales at Under-18 level and was a Welsh Youth Cup winner.

Llanelli have now made any comment about the future of Hill, but they have tweeted their thanks to Craddock, Dymock and Trundle.

“With Chairman David Craddock standing down after the season, the club would like to thank David for his tremendous leadership when stepping in and getting the club to where we are now,” say Llanelli.

“Along with Bob Jeffries and Gary Lloyd they helped rebuild the club and laid the foundations for our future

“Special thanks go to our Secretary Neil Dymock, who is also stepping down due to his work on @FAWales council.

“Without Neil the club would not be here now. His tremendous work in rebuilding the club will never be forgotten and we thank him and wish him luck in new role.

“Huge thanks to @LeeTrundle10 for his efforts over the last two seasons. Due to travelling and work commitments he has to sadly leaves @LlanelliTownAFC. Good luck for future.”
