Aaron Ramsey is out of Wales’ squad for this month’s three internationals with a thigh injury.

The midfielder’s latest injury jinx saw him withdrawn just hours after the squad was announced on Thursday morning.

Ramsey suffered the injury in Juve’s 4-1 Champions League victory at Ferencvaros in Budapest on Wednesday.

“Aaron Ramsey was subjected to examinations this morning, which revealed a low-grade injury to the rectus femoris muscle of the right thigh. In 10 days it will be re-evaluated again,” Juventus said in a statement.

Ramsey missed last month’s friendly with England as he was in a COVID-19 bubble with his Italian team.

The former Cardiff City and Arsenal player returned for the Nations League game against the Republic of Ireland but then was forced to miss the game in Bulgaria.

Wales face the USA in a friendly at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium on Thursday, 12 November.

Wales then host the Republic of Ireland on Sunday, 15 November and Finland on Wednesday, 18 November with both Nations Cup games being played at Cardiff City Stadium.
