Young Bluebirds Go West For New Welsh Challenge

Cardiff City’s under-23 head west to take on Cymru Championship South club Haverfordwest County in a pre-season fixture this evening.

Coach Andy Legg takes his players to Bridge Meadow Stadium for their latest match against Welsh pyramid opposition.

The young Bluebirds have already played Taffs Well and Trefelin BGC, while they take on Haverfordwest later today and Penybont on Tuesday, August 6.

Haverfordwest are the former club of Dan Williams, who signed for Cardiff in January.

Former Bangor City goalkeeper Matthew Hall and Ryan Pryce, who joined Cardiff from The New Saints are likely to be in the Bluebirds’ squad.

City’s under-23 team fought out a 0-0 draw against Trefelin BGC in their last pre-season match.
