Sion Spence, Cardiff City’s goalscoring midfield player, is in a rich vein of form for the Bluebirds.
Barry-born Spence, 17, has scored 12 goals for Craig Bellamy’s youth Academy under-18 team including a hat-trick against Millwall in their latest fixture.
The pity was that his treble strike did not earn Cardiff victory because hosts Millwall emerged 4-3 winners.
Spence, though, has scored 12 goals for City’s under-18s this season, while Keiron Proctor is also in good form and created two of the goals for his teammate.
First year apprentice Spence, who captained Romilly Primary School when they qualified for a national cup final at Wembley Stadium, first joined Cardiff’s Academy at the age of seven.
He made his under-23 team debut at the age of 16.
