Cardiff City have five players in the Wales squad for back-to-back under-19 internationals against Iceland in North Wales.
Sion Spence, Ryan Reynolds, Jack Bodenham, Adam Sharif and George Ratcliffe are the five who will face Iceland at the Corbett Sports Stadium, Rhyl.
The Bluebirds have rearranged their under-18 match Academy match against Sheffield United , due to be played this weekend.
Wales play Iceland on Saturday (September 2, 3pm) and Monday (5pm).
Manager Paul Bodin will assess his young players ahead of future Uefa qualification matches.
Barry’s Sion Spence is a dynamic central midfield player with a good range of passing.
He played at Wembley when he captained Romilly Primary School who played in a national cup final. First joined City’s Academy at under-8 level and made his Bluebirds under-23 debut at the age of 16 last season.
Caernarfon’s Reynolds joined the Bluebirds from Everton. His 17th birthday is this month.
The defender is tenacious and confident with an excellent work ethic and leadership qualities.
Sharif, a 16-year-old who studied at Cathays High School, is a creative, ball playing centre-back, while Jack Bodenham is a big central defender who emerged through Cardiff’s Advanced Development Centre in Newport. His 18th birthday is later this month.
Newport-born Ratcliffe, who celebrates his 17th birthday this month, is a former St Julian’s High School pupil.
A commanding, reliable and composed goalkeeper, who has been with Cardiff City’s Academy for a number of years.
