Cardiff City and Swansea City both have players in the Wales under-15 squad who are currently in Doha, Qatar.

Eli King and Cavan Williams are the Bluebirds junior players who have travelled with Wales, while the Swansea trio are Tivonge Rushesha, Luke Motruk and Bradley Gibbings.

Wales are in Qatar to take part in a tri-series competition along with the Ajax Academy and the Qatari development outfit Aspire Academy.

The group landed at Doha Airport and checked into their base at The Torch Hotel before training at Al Kohr FC.

The first match for Wales, against Ajax, is on Tuesday, February 28 at 5pm before they face the Qatari outfit Aspire Academy on Thursday (March 2),

With games will kick-off at 5pm local time, 2pm UK time.

There are 16 players in the Wales squad and the players are being encouraged to use the trip to gel as a squad and learn about another football culture.

The party includes three players who represented Wales at the 2016 Victory Shield and they are Bradley Gibbings of Swansea, Cardiff’s Cavan Williams and Bristol City’s Jamie Taylor.

Manchester City’s Owen Hesketh was initially selected to travel but has been ruled out with injury and replaced by Callum King-Harmes of Wolves.
